The Stanley Nut
Our famous landmark. Take the chairlift or 15 minutes walk to the top. Walk around the top (approx 45 min's) and take in spectacular views of the surrounding countryside, beaches and waters.

Dip Falls
Take the short walk to the bottom, and then across the bridge at the top to another vantage point.You can then drive a little further up the road for a short walk through the rain forest, to see one of Tasmania's many "big trees".

Historic Colonial fishing Village
Stanley was first colonised by the English in the 1880's. It still maintains many of the Inns, churches and homesteads from that era. It has been and still is one of Tasmania's main fishing ports.

Historic Highfield House (circa 1835)
This grand Georgian homestead was built to house the director of the Van Diemens land company, and is now open to the public.
